A Mustang Club of America Regional Car Show Saturday, May 18, 2024

Entry Fee: $30.00 for the first car and $20.00 for each additional car.

Events:

➢ 5:00 PM Friday evening May 17th Welcome PūPū party (snacks). Hospitality Room.

➢ 7:30 AM Saturday May 18th begin accepting cars – judging to start at 9:30 AM in the parking lot.

➢ 6:00 PM Saturday May 18th awards banquet in the Kokopelli room with door prizes and awards.

Banquet: There is a choice of 2 entrees: Chicken Marsala w/ vegetables and mashed potatoes OR Beef Enchiladas w/

Green Chile, rice and beans. Banquet reservations MUST be received by Tuesday, May 14th. RGMC and sponsors supplement the banquet cost. This is why we can offer a very affordable price of $35.00 for the banquet. We hope this

encourages more participation.

Show Shirts: We will be offering T-shirts only this year (no Polos) at a cost of $20.00 for sizes Small to X-Large and

$25.00 for 2XL and 3XL sizes. Must be preordered by May 3rd. Will not be sold at the show.

Classes and categories: 1964½ to 2014 Mustangs will be judged using MCA abbreviated judging sheets. Modified will be

judged for quality of workmanship, condition and cleanliness with points added for modifications. Occasional Driver and

Daily Driver will be judged only for quality of workmanship, condition, and cleanliness. Engine/engine compartment not

judged in the Daily Driver category. We DO NOT judge Undercarriage! Judging sheets will be sent via email after the

show. Fourteen classes are planned for judged cars. 2015 to 2024 Mustangs and other Ford powered vehicles in the

Participant Choice category are awarded trophies based on participant balloting. Thirteen classes are planned for the

Participant Choice cars.

Show area:

➢ No “for sale” signs on or around any cars except in the Pony Corral. No radios or other music playing.

➢ Please use the trash containers provided, do not leave trash behind.

➢ There is no water hose at the hotel to wash your car.

➢ Alcoholic beverages, tents or large umbrellas are not permitted in the show area.

➢ You are welcome to attend the judges meeting. Judge’s helpers are always needed. Please consider being a

judge’s helper, it helps to learn how to judge. It can also answer questions you may have about judging.

Display of Judged cars (1964 1/2-2014 Mustangs):

1. Hoods and trunks open (hoods closed on Daily Driven).

2. Convertible tops up. Display top boot in the trunk. Windows closed (You may open windows an inch or two).

3. A FIRE EXTINGUISHER IS REQUIRED! DO NOT place it in front of or behind a tire! Display inside or in the trunk.

4. No signs or displays around cars. Only Modified may use mirrors.

5. Please remove all personal items from the interior and trunk.

6. There are exceptions for all the above except #3! Some only apply to some years.

Display of Late Model Mustangs (2015-2024) and other Ford powered vehicles:

1. Cars may be displayed as you desire.

2. Participant ballots will be used for the winner selection.
